The Olympics We Didn't See

NBC blew it. The television network's single-minded and arguably prurient fixation on beach volleyball, gymnastics, diving, swimming, and track events came at the expense of providing even modest coverage of other Olympic events.

You were out of luck if you tuned in to NBC hoping to catch a glimpse of archery, discus throw, pole vault, high jump, shot put, rowing, sailing, shooting, triathlon, weightlifting, badminton, kayaking, cycling, equestrian, fencing, handball, judo, table tennis, windsurfing, soccer, etc.
